Nice to meet you!  

I've been a certified wedding planner since 2015, with corporate event planning and event photography experience from my long-term employee engagement role at a big insurance company. When my department was restructured, I spent some time in recruiting conducting interviews (which I loved!), and as a corporate trainer (I loved that a little less).

I started my business, Saturday Side Hustle, in 2017, doing a bunch of different things- in addition to on-the-side photography and event planning, I started an Etsy shop and sold my handmade gifts at local markets. Eventually my side business growth allowed me to leave my corporate job in 2020, Hooray! I have some of the nicest clients and have had so many fun opportunities to do the things I love. 

Jenna Jennings Photography and Events (a division of SSH) is my first priority and full-time job. I like to think that I'm doing important work- capturing authentically real memories, helping you plan and execute your perfect day, and joining you for your big milestones.

My favorite kind of wedding to plan is a low-key, creative, party-on-a-budget, but I am glad to help you with a fancy big event- I've done plenty of both with much success! I like to think that one of my biggest strengths is creative solutions, prioritizing the guest experience and making your day match your vision!
